To keep the Youth from school / College dropouts in right direction and make them self reliant.
To generate employment opportunities to the educated unemployed youth, destitute women, physically handicapped persons belongs to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority communities by giving skill based training either to get wage Employment or Self Employment.
Initially started with two training centers i.e. at Mothigally & Purani Haveli in six Courses, at free cost from 1979-1980 to 1984-1985 with a stipend of Rs.60/- per month per candidate.
From 1985-1986 to 1990-1991 technical training was imparted without any stipend. Paying of stipend was withdrawn from 1985-1986.
Computer Courses were introduced in tie-up with Institute of Public Enterprises (IPE), O.U. during the year 1985-1986 by collecting fees varying from Rs.1000/- to Rs.5000/- depending on the type of courses.
Course fee for other technical courses started from 1991-1992, varying from Rs.500/- to Rs.3500/- depending on the type of courses.
In the year 1994-1995, franchise system was extended to other districts in Computer Courses, Technical, Women Oriented and Hotel Management courses.
At Present training activities are being conducted through 38 own Training Center’s (33 Training Center’s in Telangana State and 5 Training Center’s in Andhra Pradesh State) and 22 Franchise Center’s (18 Franchise Center’s in Telangana State and 4 Franchise Center’s in Andhra Pradesh State) by offering 38 courses to cover both urban and rural youth.
SETWIN has conducted Govt. sponsored programmes like MEPMA, SC Corporation and UCD programmes under Municipal Administraion.
After completion of Training the Candidates examinations will be conducted every 3 months and SETWIN certification will be awarded.
Conducting Modular Employable Skills (MES) under Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS) programmes by registering SETWIN Training Center’s as Vocational Training providers (VTP’s) and the successful candidates will be awarded with NCVT Certification and is valid Nationally and Internationally.
Conducting special courses in 2D Animation & Web Designing and Herbal Medicine & Beauty Care to the under Graduated in association with ST. Ann’s Degree College for women. The candidates will be awarded with OU Certificate as an add Course.
Exclusive Training Center’s are established for the welfare of families of the Police Personals in the premises of TSSP / APSP / CRPF Battalions.
About 6.34 Lakh candidates are trained in job oriented courses and 2.45 Lakhs candidates are provided placements.
During the current year 2014-2015 through Own Training Center’s and Franchise Center’s 8,975 candidates are trained.
Placement Cell was established for providing placements to the trained candidates in MES courses and regular courses by organization Job Mela.
Foreign delegates from different Countries regularly visits to SETWIN Training Center, Motigally as a part of work shop at ni-msme, Govt. of India at Hyderabad.
At present, 85 Regular Employees are drawing salaries in the RPS-2010 pay roles Gratuity and Pension yet to be considered,116 Contract / consolidated Employees are drawing salaries as per the G.O.Rt.NO.3 Finance (SMPC- II) Department, dated: 12-01-2011 waiting for regularization as per Telangana Govt. promise and 112 Outsourcing Employees discharging assigned Technical / Non-Technical work as per G.O.Rt.No. 2501 Finance (SMPC Dept.)
